I read other people's blogs and never get around to blogging my own news and I think it is about time to do so. I could use the excuse that I haven't been home much and I will. Of the 115 days between Feb. 11 and June 5, I was gone 46 of them. A trip to Las Vegas in February, to Michigan at the end of Feb. and first of March, to Hawaii in April, home for 3 days and then on a cruise the first week of May, home for about two weeks and back to Michigan, driving across the country to Denver via Nauvoo and then to Las Vegas to recover my car that my kid took down there while I was gone with a clothes drier in the back. (It was the little Prius, too). Just when I was thinking that I had finally recouperated, the doorbell rang on Saturday in June, and it was a surprise visit from the Hawaii Kids! They were here for and month and we just sent them off back to their home today! We are now missing hugs and kisses from the little ones. Two weeks ago, when Eric went home, Gracie cried all the way back to our house, "No Gwamma's house, go Gracie's house!" over and over. I guess that's how we all feel when we've been away from home too long.
Vacations are over...now I have to do my yardwork and housework. I think I'll join in with Gracie's, "No Gwamma's house. Go Gracie's house!"
